Background
Hazel was born and raised in College Station, Texas. Hazel comes from a rather large family, her father was an Alpha of his own pack, she has two brothers like her are kinfolk of the family. Her family is well off financially, and education was something that her mother Ellen explained that was needed, regardless of being Garou or Kin. She was kinfolk and like the whole family all apart of the Children of Gaia. Hazel as a child enjoyed school but she was a tomboy, with a family like hers, just because you were a girl didn't mean you got out of fights or jumped on. Hazel learned how to defend herself since a young age, but this also taught her to not to back down from bullies and that she wasn't going to be bullied.
She took to school pretty easily, it helped that her mother and father both were there to make sure their kids did well. Even though her brothers were homed schooled, she wasn't but wasn't excluded. As she grew up, she enjoyed herself, she's had good and bad times, lost members of her family as well members of her fathers pack. That part wasn't hidden from her, as she grew up she took more and more pride in herself and family. She never wanted to be like the mean girls and bullies she knew in school, always willing to help those who were buillied. She kept a small circle of friends but none of them could be as close as those who were like her, of the Garou Nation.
As she graduated high school, her grades and accomplishment, through out her Jr. High school year and high school year she went into the ROTC. Her dedication to the ROTC and grades and her focus had her join the US Military. She joined the US Army. She wanted to be a soldier and stand on the front lines, during her training and even after getting out of boot, her focus shifted. She wanted to also become a doctor, even after her first tour, she saw the chaos and the care the soldiers were getting. She wanted to do more and shifted her focus and moved in the direction of a medic and was put into school where she became a doctor. This was something that took her time but for her it was worth it. During her schooling, she was stationed in L.A. California, she took on many classes and pushed herself hard to get what she wanted.
Her family due to their own laws couldn't' come to her graduation, but she understood. Her family was happy for her, and while her stay in Los Angeles was good, she made sure to check in with the local Sept, the Concrete Coyote. Family was contacted and she was granted the ability to stay. WHile here she was able to be within the Sept and learned what she could of the packs and garou. She understood that they needed her skills, even though there are many who are helping, she wanted to be here. Her fearlessness to face obstacles, and protect those who's shes treating or helping. Hazel works within one of the big hospitals within LA, but shes also starting her own practice to help those within Skid Row but also low income and those who don't have insurance. Having been given her graduation present which was her inheritance that was left to her by her grandparents which left her setup pretty well. She now is doing what she can to help the Sept as a doctor and part time fighter if needed. Though her calling as a healer is stronger.
